Books I’ve Read Lately

I’ve always been a big reader. My dad was super strict and didn’t allow me to watch TV during the school week (this qualifies as child abuse, right?). So I basically had no choice but to play outside with friends and read lots of books. I’m so grateful to my pops now for forcing this hobby on me because it’s turned reading into a lifelong love. However, having little kids meant it was easy to let this fall by the wayside. It’s hard to make sure your kid doesn’t accidentally kill her little sister while engrossed in reading a novel.

I’ve been on a quest to be more selective in how I spend my time, and I realized just how much I fell off my reading game. So, now I’ve recommitted to reading a book a week and effectively cutting out TV (except my husband and my 90-day Fiance addiction). Here are a few of the books I’ve read thus far, and some that I have on my list for the rest of the year.
